RedEye was a daily free newspaper published by the Chicago Tribune until 2017. At the time of my column, it was the highest circulation paper in the city at 250,000. My work began as a festival correspondent. This transformed into becoming one of the paper’s first six bloggers and finally as a print columnist aimed at the 20-something singles in the city.
